Проблема с драйверами NVIDIA-FreeBSD-x86-1.0-4365 FreeBSD 5.1, !*! vovaiv12, 11-Авг-04, 02:44  [смотреть все]
Собственно проблема :
после установки драйвера и рекомпила ядра - нормально.
Перезагрузка - ошибка
fschk(signal 84)
fschk(signal 85)
и висит.

    А если грузануться с kernel.old всё нормально проходит?
    Покажи конфиг ядра.
    И сразу попробуй не компилить дрова карты в ядро, а подключи модулем.

      Проглючило.
      Привожу точные ошибки:
      mounting /dev/ad1s1a
      pid 84 (fsck_ufs),uid 0 : exited on signal 8
      pid 85 (fsck_ufs),uid 0 : exited on signal 8

      При этом дрова сначала работали и после перезагрузки,появлялась заставка Нвидии при старте Х-ов.После штатной перезагрузки - ошибки.
      Переустановил дрова и всё :(.

        Фирменные дрова 4365 вероятнее всего и не будут нормально работать с FreeBSD 5-й ветки. Выпуск драйвера под нее NVidia планирует (если верить их форуму) только после того, как выйдет релиз 5.3 STABLE. В вашем случае, вероятно, подключенный nvidiевский модуль помешал нормальному завершению работы системы, а после перезагрузки препятствует работе fschk. Попробуйте загрузиться в single user mode и полностью деинсталлировать драйвер, затем запустить fschk вручную.

          Замечательно у меня пашет и в 4.10 и в 5.2.1 (agp драйвер в ядре)
