/etc/default/explorer is the old defaults file and uses an
incompatible format with the new defaults file. The old
file is read during install to obtain default values and is
removed at the end of installation.

    VARIABLES
         EXP_EMAIL_SPLIT
The EXP_EMAIL_SPLIT variable is used to split explorer
output that is too large for mail servers. Valid
              values are between 1049576 (1MB) and 9437184 (9MB).
              The default is 4194304 (4MB).

         EXP_PATH
The EXP_PATH variable is used to inform explorer where
to look for support binaries like gzip and mpack.

         EXP_SUBJECT
The EXP_SUBJECT variable is used to change the subject
line on explorer output mail. Variable substitution is
              available for the following variables:

              %C Substitute the Customer Name

              %E Substitute the Explorer ID

              %F Substitute the Explorer Filename

              %H Substitute the Host ID

              %I Substitute the Contract ID

         EXP_GEO
The EXP_GEO viarable is used to select the appropriate
geography for this system. The GEOs are:

              APAC
                   Asia Pacific

              EMEA
                   Europe, Middle East, Africa

              AMERICAS
                   North, Central and South America

         EXP_SERIAL_<HOSTID>
Serial numbers can be stored for many hostids in one
              defaults file.

         EXP_CONTRACT_ID
This is the customer's Spectrum Contract ID

         EXP_CRON_WHICH
Explorer collects crontab files based on the
EXP_CRON_WHICH variable. This should be a comma
              seperated list of crontab files.

         EXP_WHICH
The EXP_WHICH variable is used to control what modules
explorer should run. See explorer(1M) discussion on -w
              switch for more information.
