"Как запустить Gnome2 или KDE?"

Недавно поставил FreeBSD, хотелось бы графическую оболочку поставить. KDE либо Gnome2. Сначала решил настрочить XFree86, чтобы он с гномом работал. Все делал в соответствии с этой [url]http://www.freebsd.org.ru/handbook/x11-wm.html[/url]. Но на startx запускается xdm. А оттуда уже могу запустить gnome-session. Созадавал в руте файлики .xinitric и .xsession как написано в инструкции, при этом после команды startx комп просто зависает.
FreeBSD 5.2.

Запустить kde из консоли очень просто...надо дать команду "startx" (без кавычек разумеется...Если графический режим настроен правильно, то все нормально запуститься...если не настроен-оставь сообщение...

Что бы так запустить kde нужно для начала написать в ~/.xinitrc
startkde :)
